This muesli is a delicious breakfast and filling (bonus I always have leftovers for the next day). If you are wondering what’s on top…  My husband over toasted the walnuts so visually it looks like a mosh pit but, I guarantee it’s yummy. 🙂

Muesli
an easy breakfast or snack when you are craving something sweet.

Ingredients
  1. 1 cup oatmeal
  2. 1 cup filtered water
  3. 1 or 2 lemons
  4. 1 tbsp. honey
  5. 1 banana
  6. 1 apple
  7. walnuts (for garnish) toasted
  8. cinnamon
Instructions
  1. In a mixing bowl add the oatmeal & the water. Juice the lemons and add to bowl. (oatmeal will soften in 15 minutes) Stir in honey. Dice apple add to bowl.
  2. Garnish: with banana, toasted walnuts and sprinkle with cinnamon.
  3. I like to add the banana as a garnish to keep the banana from turning brown in case there is leftovers.
Notes
  1. If you have leftovers add some fresh banana.
