This muesli is a delicious breakfast and filling (bonus I always have leftovers for the next day). If you are wondering what’s on top… My husband over toasted the walnuts so visually it looks like a mosh pit but, I guarantee it’s yummy. 🙂

an easy breakfast or snack when you are craving something sweet.
Ingredients
- 1 cup oatmeal
- 1 cup filtered water
- 1 or 2 lemons
- 1 tbsp. honey
- 1 banana
- 1 apple
- walnuts (for garnish) toasted
- cinnamon
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl add the oatmeal & the water. Juice the lemons and add to bowl. (oatmeal will soften in 15 minutes) Stir in honey. Dice apple add to bowl.
- Garnish: with banana, toasted walnuts and sprinkle with cinnamon.
- I like to add the banana as a garnish to keep the banana from turning brown in case there is leftovers.
Notes
- If you have leftovers add some fresh banana.
